Free range

Someone once mentioned the Sockeye and it just stayed with me. I did not believe that it was nowhere to be found in Poland, but it is true. I had to come to London to find an alaskan salmon in the fish department of my favourite supermarket. I took advantage of the low winter temperatures and brought a portion home. I prepared it according to this recipe. In a pot, I boiled water with a bay leaf, green pepper corns and juice from one lemon along with the lemon skin. Then, I dropped the fish parts into the water for just a few minutes.
